It depends on where you are going and what you are doing.
My parents and spending six months in an Aliner (currently in Arizona) and they tow it with their Sienna minivan. I talked to my mom the other day and she did say they were a bit bummed that they weren't able to go down some of the roads/trails because they didn't have a 4x4 vehicle.
