Can someone confirm for me that when towing a jeep wrangler 4 down, that it will not be computing the mileage while it is rolling along behind us? What about the Jeep Cherokee?
We tow a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 with a manual transfer case. The newer Jeeps have two different auto transmissions, the higher cost one has a neutral position, the standard A/T doe not have that option, and is not approved for towing. You can tell which one is in the vehicle by looking for a small button that must be pushed with a pen to shift into neutral, no button=not towable 4-down.
