We tow a 4 door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4x4 automatic. It tows great! Comfort is OK, but not for long road trips. The gas mileage stinks! It is my main car, but work is only a little over 2 miles from home. If I had a longer commute I would be looking into another vehicle. Have you looked at the Honda CRV?
