Class B or B+ recommendations?

Hi, everyone. I’m looking to buy my first RV. I’d appreciate recommendations for a class B or B+, preferably with a dry bath. It would be the two of us adults, plus a dog. Price range is flexible, because we don’t know what’s reasonable yet. I don’t even know the basics of what to consider or avoid.

yep, many/most/all I have seen have a cabinet/storage option instead of bunk. don't really know what you gain with a C -.

In my book, a B+ is a short C with no bumk over the cab.
  • There is no such thing as a B+. I wish RV salesmen would quit using this false term. A class B is build in a Van. A class C is built on a CUTAWAY chassis. Period!
  • B+. Check out the Phoenix Cruiser link 2100 (B+) or even their new TRX (B). We had a 2100 and just upgraded to the newer 2351D, due to DW's back issues. The sleeper sofa is nice, but still a sofa that sleeps.

Just to be clear, when you say a "dry bath" do you mean no shower or an enclosed shower so that the rest of the room does not get wet.

You might find the first in a Class B, but I doubt you will find the latter in a Class B+ !
  • Twin bed or queen. Leave it made up or make it at night. Apartment sized fridge or half-sized. Lots of decisions and trade offs in B. Don’t completely discount wet baths as boaters have lived with them for years. It’s a small space so you need to see what will fit the two of you (+dog). We downsized from a 36 foot with a slide-out to a B to change how we travel with two Labs and a cat. It just took a bit of organizing :B. BTW, a B+ is really a C and almost 2 feet wider than a B, and that matters when you decide to park.

  • if you are considering B+s, might as well consider small Cs since they are basically the same, without overhead.
