Here is what I use soaked in 303 and about the same as you are doing, but this is much more compact, easy to use and convenient to store. I also use the single section with the rag as a way to clean and lubricate the slide seals between the seals and the slide surfaces where my hand with a rag is hard to get between because of clearances. The rag holder for shotguns is a great size for the rag holder for the slide seals. I used what I had and simple used a very long strip of cloth wrapped around and tied to form the "swab".
