Wait a second.
I just noticed the round trip mileage assumed and that $5500 a year for gas doesn't tally.
If you made that round trip of 70 miles a day, 5 days a week, for 50 weeks (there are still some school breaks?) you end up with a total mileage of 17,500. If what you're driving gets 20mi/gal., your gas total would be 875 gals. Is gas over $6 a gal. in Washington?
