When you really sit down and look at what you are doing, you are going to blow the top off your budget...
There are many ways to skin this cat, but you are about as hard headed as my 10 year old. If you have $5k to do this, sell your primary vehicle and add to it. Get a cargo van as a tow vehicle, then a nice little used trailer...think Teardrop or scamp, then you can haul your motorcycle. Or get a Class C with a small cargo trailer (they are inexpensive, and you can haul you bike).
I lived in Norfolk, VA for two years while the family was in Jacksonville, FL. I bought an older toy hauler. It has the capacity to haul two full dressers plus a little more. Completely self contained....generator, lots of water, etc.... I recently just used that trailer to haul ALL of my house hold goods to storage. So, an RV can be more than an RV. This thread is more than 100 posts, you have been given some great ideas and have been told that it is overall a bad idea. There are other ways to survive...and be comfortable....and be safe. I, as a lot of others, think you are going to end up trading off safety for cheap....that will be easy to do. Cutting corners...no bueno!
