Colorful map "rules"
My family purchased a blank USA map with the different color state stickers. The wife and kids are excited about filling in the map. I know it is ultimately up to us but what rules are you guys using ...

We seem to be with the majority, and color in a state if we stay overnight. But we use Wal-Mart and other parking lots often, so we count ANY overnight stay; real estate is real estate! We won't live long enough to get another RV so we're not worried about taking our map to our 'next' RV. Should we win the lottery, we'll figure out how to add Hawaii.
