NOT saying this will be the problem with the 2013 Jayco X20E that your considering
But this is a paste and click from one of my older previous posts concerning problems with my 2011 Jayco X20E....
Well I have problems with my Jayco X20E, Last summer I had a seam pop on the trailer roof... water got in and the front face of the trailer was starting to de-laminate. Ended having the whole front laminate face of the trailer replaced. The only good news it was covered on the 2yr warranty.
From what I've read and been told the government is making the camping industry change the VOC's of the caulks & glues to something more environmentally friendly... well I've found out they don't last for s**t!
I now have to check all my caulking after every camping trip and I'm finding the caulking (especially around the bunkends where the most stress is) is breaking down where I have had to re-caulk almost after every trip. This kind of maintenance I consider unexceptable.
This all said were thinking of going back to a travel trailer.
