You have noticed that too? A vehicle just seems to run better when it is nice & clean.
A lot less wind resistance. Helps MPG, and MPH. NASCAR crews spend a lot of time waxing their cars just before qualifying. Trying to get that 1 or 2 MPH, a slick surface will give.
