I just got back from taking my RV to a tire place that gets stellar reviews locally and after inspecting it the tire guy said that it was fine and wasn't deep at all and that I didn't need to replace it. I left happy and then decided to randomly take it to another place on my way back to park my RV in storage. A second guy had a look and also said it was fine so I parked my RV and came home.
I don't know. Maybe I should have had it replaced. I know tire folks love to sell tires but I wouldn't expect two to turn down the chance to do so.
