cruise control
l have a 1995 ford f250 with a 5 speed manual transmission and gas engine my cruise control isn,t working. What could be my problem. Thanks

And there's a youtube vid on anything you want to fix... Here is one that discusses the #1 reason for C/C failure in an older superduty: youtube video. - The most common failure is the clock spring which requires removing the steering wheel.
- Wasn't there a recall or service bulletin out on Fords of around this vintage to do with cruise wiring around the master cylinder ?
dave - With a manual tranny there is also a switch on the clutch pedal that activates when you push the clutch in. That switch along with the brake light switch could be out of adjustment thus not allowing the cruise to activate. just a thought, check it out.

- Maybe a bad switch on one of the pedals, maybe a fuse.
- 20 years old. Broken wire? After market one should work fine.
