I could hook up and tow any of our trailers-utility, pop-up, 5er-but could not for the life of me back up. My recommendation would be just to practice a lot. As far as the actually hooking up as K Charles said if you can follow instructions you can do it, along with the rest of the trailer set-up. If you get a Class A or Class C you'll have to decide if you want to pull a toad or not. I could hook and unhook the toad no issue and found backing up our Endura easy enough, even at 35 feet. All will have pros and cons-you just have to decide what is most important to you.
