In terms of hitching, coming from someone who mainly watches her husband do it, I think the 5th wheel is easier. We have electronic leveling though, so that helps with the raising/lowering needed to line it all up (that's my job, controlling that while he's in the truck).
I can also say that my husband enjoys pulling our 5th wheel much more than our old travel trailer. It's more stable, I can even feel the difference as a passenger, especially when the wind picks up or a semi truck passes us.
I don't have any experience with motorhomes so I'm not helpful there. Only negative I can think of is that there's less storage and you can't go anywhere once you're parked unless you take the whole thing with you.
