Diesel 2.29 on Oregon Coast

Wow just filled up in Florence Oregon at Fred Meyer at this low price. As many of you know that all fuel in Oregon is full service so they even do all the work.
  • Still $2.70 range in SW Florida for diesel. I recall how good I felt last summer after traveling through California and paying those prices for B20 and then towing up through the Oregon coast and getting fuel there. What a difference!

That is a good price - 2.65 here still. I was in Medford about 3 years ago and noticed that full-service deal. You can't pump your own gas even if you wanted to. What is the deal with that?
no pumping it yourself is not allowed thats how we like it here in oregon
You CAN pump your own diesel, IF the owner of the station allows it. To answer your question, musicman54?........ 1) provides work for lower income people, 2) don't have to get smelly fuel on our hands, and 3) don't have to get out in the hot sun/wet rain(90% chance of that). There may be other reasons why, the above is why I always vote to keep the law the way it is. :) :) :)
