We are going to be there in June
well, you better make reservations as soon as you can, anywhere you plan to stay in California.
popular and coastal campsites are gone the minute they become available for reservations, at least 6 months in advance. - olygeneExplorerI have to agree with Bikendan...especially if you're going in late June when all the grandkids are out of school and grandpa and grandma want to take the kids to Disneyland in their RVs. We tried to find a space 2 years ago in June but we waited until Feb and we had no luck. For those that think you can park in the Disneyland parking lot overnight--no way. They allow day parking but nothing overnight. My suggestion is to start calling the RV lots mentioned in the post ASAP and hope you get lucky. You'll probably pay about $80 a night for full HU.
- RecumbentmanExplorerAlso take a look at Canyon RV park its within your 1 hour drive
- Ski_Pro_3ExplorerAlright,
I'm here to warn everyone.
I'm staying at the Anaheim RV park. Takes maybe 20 minutes to walk it or wait for the bus. Either way.
My son was staying in Pasadena. About 30 miles away. (31.2 miles actually) Yesterday morning he left there at 6:30am. He got to Disneyland 2 and a half hours later. So, don't go thinking that anything further than 10 miles out is going to be anything less than an hour drive. Not on weekdays during their 'rush hour'. (defined as anything between 4am and 10pm weekdays. - Ski_Pro_3Explorer

I paid about $56 a night. Although $80 would still be a bargain compared to hotels, about double that for the cheap ones. PLUS they charge another $10 to $20 per night for parking. You do get coffee and a muffin in the morning though. - bikendanExplorerpeople outside of California, have no idea how bad LA/OC traffic is, 7 days a week.
the only good time to drive is between 10pm to 4am.:M - fyrflieExplorer III
