Do you ever ship belongings to destination or back home?

FWIW, years ago a friend of mine did several cross country motorcycle trips. He and his wife would mail/UPS their good clothing, equipment, etc. to their destination. It was usually a friend, relative or general delivery, depending on the destination.
It worked for them, with all the shipping services available nowadays you will have no problems.
