you got a lot to do in a short amount of time. Like some one mentioned you want to make sure your rig is road ready for a big trip like that. A few issues along the way on a tight schedule could derail the trip. You will also want to do a few shake down trips prior to get it all dialed in. You might want to look at something closer, Lake Michigan circle tour is a good trip or out to the black hills. If camping is new to the family the whole experience of camping along the way will probably be as much fun as the destination. I myself pulling a trailer at the high end of my trucks capacity can go about 7 hrs until I'm done.
