Docking lights on 2016 Keystone

Glad you figured it out. Sounds like a safety feature, double switched so no can simply flip the lights on and potentially run your battery down. Mine are single switched, and I've often thought how easy someone could turn them on any time.

Thank you for your information again. I went out and took a look and yes it is the LED strip of lights that are the docking lights. That switch is always onice, but the lights do not come on until I turn on security lights on the panel inside. I did switch the docking lights switch off while the security lights were on and they went off. Thanks again.

Maybe it is the same led strip that comes on when I turn on the security lights. Thank you for your information, I will take a look and see if that switch actually turns those lights on.

Looked at pics of a 3010re Keystone Alpine 5th wheel...the docking light seems to be integrated with the alignment mirror on the front of the rig.

I use this forum with my phone and not sure how I can add a photo to the message or I would add a picture of our 5th wheel. We do not have lights like the front of yours.

Our model is the 3010re. This button just puzzles me.

What model do you have? My Outback has a switch that turns on the two lights on the front of the trailer. They look like miniature headlights, but actually are angled to shine in the back of a pick-up bed, and downward. Work pretty well too. If you look real close at the photo below, you can see the switch (facing you, on the lower right side of the --- left side of the camper, --- near the battery. It's the white square thing. Turns on those 2 lights).

Does yours have similar lights on the front?
