Does heat from fireplace damage lift TV?
I would think that if the TV is down in the cabinet when the fireplace is operating, the heat would damage the TV. Maybe the logical answer is to have the TV up above the cabinet when using the firep...

Not quite sure what you are talking about, but I heat with wood and our TV is right beside the wood burning fireplace. and it never has been hurt.
I am guessing that the area near the TV is usually about 80 degrees.
As I am writing this, it is blazing away and my wife is watching the TV.
I wouldn't put the TV above the fireplace. Heat rises, and it is much hotter a few feet above the fireplace
