Does heat from fireplace damage lift TV?
I would think that if the TV is down in the cabinet when the fireplace is operating, the heat would damage the TV. Maybe the logical answer is to have the TV up above the cabinet when using the firep...

The "fireplace" has to be rated not to transfer heat to anything behind it, otherwise a serious fire hazard would exist. If you look at the specs for that "fireplace" you will find that it probably has a zero tolerance specification for placement against anything at the rear. It is designed to transfer all heat to the front. The television should be OK.
