Does heat from fireplace damage lift TV?
I would think that if the TV is down in the cabinet when the fireplace is operating, the heat would damage the TV. Maybe the logical answer is to have the TV up above the cabinet when using the firep...

Again:
No the television will not be damaged from the electric fireplace when the tv is retracted into the cabinet.
There is no heat in the back of the fireplace even when it is set to heat on high.
We have run our fireplace numerous times with the television down.
It is completely safe.
