Thanks for the quick responses! We love our current, older model Tundra, and were hoping to upgrade it, but we could be open to other vehicles if it would simplify things. I do love a dually! It's dumb, but we really enjoy the power rear window option on the Tundra, which I am not aware of any other truck having. Not a deal breaker though. I would like to achieve a set up where we could all drive together and the adults switch off driving, but if need be we will just drive two cars. I like the idea of a tow behind because I am not comfortable installing a car seat in an RV and would like to have everyone ride in the truck. As an aside, am I correct in assuming the added fuel cost to tow would work out to less than getting a hotel room would? And is it easy enough to find an inexpensive place to overnight when making cross country trips? Our next move is at the end of the year and I need to get all my thoughts straight and get the ball rolling soon. Thanks again for your well thought out responses!
