I have been with AAA and now GS RSA. Like so many companies it depends on the company providing the service. We were about 400 miles from home woke up to find a flat on the inside rear of our motorhome. Bad valve stem! Called GS and the crew came in a AAA pickup truck. Great crew fixed us up and we're back on the road. Then about 200 miles down the road that tire completely failed. Called GS again but this crew was right out of Deliverance! They got "lost" trying to find us... we're on the exit ramp off the interstate. Kind of hard to miss a 31ft RV! But they did.... Wife, dog, and kid stayed in the RV while I tried to monitor them. They stripped an axle nut putting on the spare. I had to give them my wrenches to do the job with as they did not have the right tools. Once spare was on we got out of there quickly! Called GS to take that crew off their call list!
Both cases GS was VERY helpful calling us back to be sure we were all set.
We have a tow rider with our Insurance and I also am still carrying a AAA family plan card. AAA has always been great. The Insurance was slow to repay us for a minor short tow. And sent a letter that while they paid the bill they "suggested" not using it as it will cause our insurance rates to go up if we call them more than once ever few years!
