Dump Gloves

We used gloves we bought at auto parts house for changing oil on tractors, irrigation engines and etc. Got to thinking that would also work great for sewer hose and etc. Works great. Finish just throw away, and hands are clean.

I used to just toss my old used gloves over the fence to my neighbors yard here in my Brentwood neighborhood. His dog loved them as play toys. Then my neighbor got arrested and said the gloves didn't fit, police questioned me etc. So I just gave up on using dump gloves.

In my very un-scientific poll of campgrounds, it seems maybe 33% have recycle bins. I've been recycling since the 80's, whether I'm at home, or not. We'll bag our recycling (Aluminum, plastic, cardboard) separate from trash while staying in a non-recycling facility and dispose of it properly when the opportunity presents itself. When I first met my Gal, she thought I was going to leave her because she didn't recycle. Soon, she was a convert and is now more vehement about recycling than anyone I know.
I have zero issue with, and have no guilt or shame from, depositing 40-50 pairs of disposable gloves per year in a landfill.

Not really. I do a little to protect the environment and I do a little to protect myself and loved-ones. I guess I figure my 100 gloves, that are mostly used as safety instruments, pale in comparison to what is placed in the landfill that should be recycled. I think my landfill Karma is good to go.

But then I can't complain. What fun is that?;)

It's easy enough to un-subscribe, then you don't have to read all the garbage.

Agreed Is putting the gloves in a landfill a good thing or a bad thing?
I don't use gloves I have none to dispose of.
I have no shame.
Maybe a bout with ecoli every now and again but no shame.:B
