I fail to see the need to have a "spotless" holding tank (it after all a holding tank not a kitchen table). Dump, quick rinse while the gray is emptying, and Good Enough is Good Enough. Never timed myself but I would bet 10 minutes would be on the high side for me.
I don't need a spotless black tank either but I also do not want a pit toilet in my trailer.
What size and frequency of clumps are acceptable?
When I rinse(by squirting a hand held sprayer up the dump valve), a lot of times when I think it is clean enough, another sizeable clump comes out and I keep going...
