Equalizer Hitch Setup Manual

Question

I received the following Equalizer hitch from the guy I bought the trailer from and was wondering if anyone could identify it and help me find a manual on appropriately getting it setup appropriately.

I'm having some trouble getting it setup with actually loosing weight on the front-end (300# and adding 1200# on the rear axle).

There's a "sticky" in the towing forum that might help with your set-up.hitch set-up

First, one threads is fine. Second, that is not an Euqal-i-zer brands hitch.

Look at this sticky thread for decent info on how to adjust. Based on the info in your other thread, I recommend increasing the angle of the ball or decreasing the number of links under tension to increase WD to your truck's front axles.

I agree that this is not an equalizer, it has chains and the equalizers do not.
