Etiquette on contacting past owner of your new RV

Well, the paperwork is there, and we'd love to call them. Is that a "no-no?" Of course we would be friendly and tactful, but just wondering how the Dealers feel about that... as well as how well rece...

I had purposely left my phone number several places in the owners manual of a 2001 Dodge Ram I traded in so the buyer could call if he wanted to. A couple months later he did and we had a nice conversation. Of course both of us being from Texas I thought it was the friendly thing to do.
