We've had a pop-up trailer camper, a pop-up truck camper, a class c, and a 5th wheel.
The 28' 5th wheel had the most room due to its super-slideout, it pulled nicely; but we weren't happy about using the huge truck as our "daily driver".
The popups are handy and fit in places many RVs can't go - but lack storage and "amenities". Like a flushing toilet.
The (slideless) 28' Class C was easy to drive, and setting up was a breeze. One trip, there had been a fatal crash, and we were stuck in stopped traffic for 4 -5 hours. One of us stayed in the driver's seat; but we were able to use the bathroom, have dinner, a beverage, watch TV (that's how we knew what happened), and take a nap (NOT the one in the driver's seat). Often, we towed a Wrangler behind it, for fun off-road trips. We miss the C the most.
