Fire ring/bowl??
Do you travel with one? What do you use? Hubby doesn't want propane - only a real wood burning fire.

I think this no fire pit thing is more common out west. It is dry here and all kinds of rules and regulations exist when it comes to fires and even out right fire bans. I have seen fire bans, I have seen no fire pits, I have seen fire pits that were as high as my head when I sat down next to it, and I have even seen fire pits located in very strange and or inconvenient places. Almost as if the park host said to himself, "Hmmmm. Where would be the crappiest placer to put a fire pit?" :S
