In all seriousness though, I know that people get in over their heads and get way too big of trailer for the truck their towing....we actually had a salesmen tell us that we could tow a LARGE 5th wheel 11500 lbs because it’s within the tow weight, we obv know better than that. And I never thought or knew about hitch weight adding to payload, I looked at what max hitch weight was for the truck and thought that’s all that mattered.
