The propane cabin heater uses battery power for the fan, we do a lot of desert camping in winter and also in the mountains, we use oil lamps for light and they also help heat the inside of the RV and I have small led units for desert night lights in strategic areas, as in under medicine cabinet that is over the sink that saves on battery and of course solar panel.
