we don’t mind it cold at night and have tent camped and backpacked in subfreezing temps. we would turn off the furnace at night and keep it at 55 during the day to prevent freezing water. we don’t usually get very cold temps here like in the rockies, lows in the teens or twenties is pretty typical.
