What kind of a rig do you have and how big is it. Winters in CO and WY can be really rough. If you hit a time when a storm is coming in, I doubt a 1500 watt plug in heater would keep the inside of a 15ft travel trailer above freezing. Like the one gentleman said, and I would agree, that I would go thru 30# of propane in the 40,000 btuh furnace in a couple of days trying to keep our 35ft Class A at just 60 degrees when it is 0 to 10 degrees outside and the wind is blowing. Better winterize it if you do not plan on running a propane furnace.
