"Perfect" is a very subjective term.
I have some expensive lights but rarely use them. Have no need for a light that will cast a beam half a mile when walking around camp. In fact I find I can see better at night with no light at all. The bright flashlight illuminates what it's pointed at but that's all you see. Without a light you still have peripheral vision.
I don't have one yet, but think one of those headband lights would be ideal for camping when you need the light. It would always be pointing where you need it and not taking up one of your hands.
