Food Storage
We're new to the TT world, having spent the last 16 years enjoying popup camping. With all our new possibilities come some new questions. Here's one: now that we CAN keep things stored in the camp...

My C is used all year round and is so keeping it ready to go quickly is important to me.
Being well experienced at 'mouse-proofing' cottages and other seasonal dwellings I long ago figured out the easy way to deal with food, TP, paper and cloth towels, bedding, etc.
I got a good-sized tin box, think a large tote box but made of sheet metal and with a very snug lid.
When unpacking after a trip any paper, cloth and non-perishable food goes on it on top of the mattress. Snap the lid on and forget it.
Getting ready for a trip is just the opposite, unpack it and go.
If there is no food or nesting materials an RV is not very attractive to a rodent.
