One more comment on drinking water.
The RV water system is not a closed system to the best of my knowledge. I believe that here is an overflow which means there is some exposure to free air and some exposure to airborne bacteria. I do't know how much exposure.
In south Florida that tank water is at a perfect temperature for breeding bacteria. I wold definitely not trust water that is not chlorine treated.
In the sixties and seventies nobody drank water, unless it was outside out of the hose. If you were inside you would get milk, soda, beer, lemonade, iced tea, Hawaiian Punch, etc. City Tap water sucked
