I use this too. I get it at Wal-Mart.
Save your money. It's diluted bleach, nothing more.
Clicky.
I get it a Wal-Mart. It's not going to break the bank for me. I use it because it is convenient. All I have to do is use the number of cap fulls the printed label calls for and be done with it. Don't have to remember if it was x number of y number of drops or ounces of bleach is it 5 percent of 8 percent, to purify drinking water and calculate the difference in drops or ounces between unconcentrated or concentrated bleach.
I have noticed that most directions for how much bleach to use to sterilize water for drinking and to sanitize a TT fresh water system are the same ones they have used for the last 20 or 30 years for 5 percent hypochlorite, although the bleach sold in stores for doing cleaning and laundry have gotten more concentrated the last few years to 8 percent (almost twice the amount). People are still using 1/4 cup (2 oz) per 15 gallons for 5 percent solution. At 8 percent that would be 1.25 oz per 15 gallons to sanitize their trailer. A lot of people here complain about the bleach taste after sanitizing their fresh water systems. Probably because they wind up using almost twice as much bleach as necessary.
