it depends on the rv. A high quality true 4 season unit will cost you, serve you, but resell well . There are only a few mfgrs of trailers, less of MHs that are capable of wintering.
Utilities are the issue. Fresh and waste water are high challenges in freezing weather; it becomes not so much an issue of heating the rv as it does keepin the services.
All in all, its not cheap or easy. For just a winter, likely not financially sound. Certainly not for short term housing considering the work and cost of winterized water and waste lines.
