Beg to differ amigo,,everyones situation is diferent but in my case Ive saved enough to retire early,,
but then Ive never stayed in campgrounds,,pay cash for my truck,dont buy useles junk,,buy my clothes in second hand store and my cell phone is still only 20$ per month..
Use free wifi in library Starbucks or McDs..

Like Reddog1 suggested, a back and forth is more beneficial for you, as well as the reader and responder. When I am contacted, I refrain in giving a lot of information as it does not help the person for me to go off on tangents that are not relevant to them. Otherwise they can just go to a forum and read anything that is posted there. By sharing your plans and expectations gives me more an idea in how I might be of help.

Learning more about your plans would be a big help, as well as the type of F250, Camper and your plans on where you expect to park/camp.

Me? I have more than 3,100 consecutive nights (with only 64 nights in campgrounds) fulltiming in a truck camper, after selling everything in 2008. I am into my 9th year and have been living for months at a time without going to town and haven't plugged into electrical outlets for over 7 years, by using solar. But my experiences probably are not germain to what your plans and or expectations are.

There are lots of factors involved if you are to save money, but you have not shared any of that with us, so I would say you don't really have a plan yet. But, we/I can be of help. So help us to help you.

My post was not directed at anyone in particular and I am not disturbed by anyones proper English.

I question posters used male terms for "proper" English. I am more inclined to believe it is simply jumping to conclusions. I think the OP could really benefit by thought out input, less so on jumping to conclusions.

some of the CA college campuses do have RV parks, and in the central valley you are never far from a truck stop on 99 or 5 and all of them have dump stations. Anyways as a student you have access to the gym and showers and restrooms in all campus buildings. s far as the Fords go all the SRWs (250 and 350} use the same axles. with a few mods they can carry most non multislideout TCs. I carried my Lance 1050 ( over 4000# wet) on my 2003 F350 SRW for years

In winter I stayed in a motel..
Anything is doable,,one sugestion never leave any valuables in your truck or rv..I even put sign on window saying NO money or valuables inside this vehicle..never had any problems..

This is a kid in school. He's not gonna go buy a 2018 F450 because the glovebox sticker says he needs to.
The glovebox sticker on my old '86 GMC said it's payload was something just over 2000 pounds. That's a joke, that thing never complained about 5000, plus a heavy trailer. And my old F250 before that was doing the same job.

Sure a lot of assumptions made. Ever consider asking the OP questions, it might be a more effective way to provide useful suggestions. Where is the college would be a good question. Why do you think the OP is a male?

Have I overlooked it or has the OP not made but two post on this thread. I think they could get some very valuable information here through asking questions.
