why would you do that to your kids
Our kids are actually very excited. They have been rv shopping with us and we told them they can help pick the one we get. We go camping in the summers for a month at a time out of a tent, I don't see any problem with this. Teaching my kids to grow their food, hunt and fish, providing for the family.
Of course your kids are excited. They only know the summer camping experience, and the view presented to them from your rose colored glasses.
You seem h*ll bent on doing this, so I wish you all the luck in the world. You will need it. Please come back next March after your water froze for many weeks, your propane bill was astronomical, the heat went out and you woke up to sub freezing temperatures, your in laws got tired of paying hundreds of dollars extra for your electricity, your refrigerator quit working because of the extreme cold outside, and the cost of washing clothes at the coin laundry was more than your food bill. I can't wait to say we told you!
