We camp at football games and NASCAR races and don't have hook-ups a lot of times. It seems to be pretty common that people with generators at these events run them 24/7 too. We aren't the only ones. We will turn it off during the day while we are out and about, but it typically runs other than that if we don't have hookups. When it is still in the 80's and humid, trust me, you want the A/C. Of course, this is probably depending on where you are located.
