A few years ago, I was the guy with a flat tire (never felt a thing and couldn't see a thing in the mirrors) and "crazy people honking and waving at me"
After a couple of folks did it, I got the hint...BUT in today's crazy world, it's not wise to pull over JUST because someone's waving at you.
AND, I've been on the other side and gotten no response when trying to inform someone.
Perhaps signs are the best answer- and even then..."Tire problem"..."Trailer Problem"..."Hitch problem"???
As to the "strobe light"...yikes, that seems like a really BAD idea...potentially blinding a driver with bright flashes...doesn't seem like a particularly safe way to do things, nor does it convey any useful information other than some a$$ is messing with me with his strobe light.
