Have you ever done this?
My wife dropped a plastic spoon down the toilet. She was emptying a pan of soapy water from the sink. How concerned should I be?

I've heard of people pouring soapy water into the toilet to help clean out, and clean the sensors. Dish soap is cheap and fresh soap would make for better cleaning.
We have this practice - never have an issue of not enough liquid to get the black tank to empty properly.
