Simply put, hard starting motors (larger refrigerator and air conditioners) as well as microwave do not "like" modified sine wave inverters. If you can get them to start, they will run hot and consume more power than a pure sine wave inverter.
Plus you keep over looking what has been said about starting current (amps). Many time more than running current (amps)
