I, like Jim, am functional with hearing aids but still not anywhere close to normal. Without my hearing aids, i'm pretty much stone deaf. Fortunately, when at night and my aids are in there drying chamber, I still have my DW (who does have good hearing) to be my alarm if something requires my attention.
Since I do have her, I have not modified my mh to compensate for my lack of hearing and also do not know of any clubs.
Are you a single traveler? If yes, then I most definitely would make some mods (not sure what they would be).
