Help identify these blue clips in our fridge

We just use the potholders to keep the fridge and freezer doors ajar when not in use.

When we got our first camper we bought so many gadgets that we tried and discarded through the years. The fridge latch went into the same bin with the rest of the rejected gadgets in the shed.

I've had these for 5 years and didn't know what they were. Wife and I just left them in the freezer shelf "just in case". :)

thanks to the OP for asking about these clips and thanks for the photo showing how these things work. when my mom cleaned out her MH as she sold it, I received some of these. I knew what they were, but couldn't figure out how to use them. So simple, yet so far away from the different ways I tried. Thank goodness my TT sits fairly level in storage, so I could just open partway easily.

The photo above shows the clip not quit fully engaged. It can be pushed downward a slight bit more and the black latch on the fridge will then be straight.

i can't seem to figure out how they attach. can someone post a pick showing how they are attached to the door?
