maybe you could get him to read this thread and post why he feels FHU's are so necessary.
This was my intention in starting this thread, to print or link it for hubby and friends to read to make them consider how silly they're being.

None of us ever tent camped before buying our RVs, so I think having missed out on true roughing it has tainted their perspectives. It's true, there's no point in forcing them to do something they won't enjoy, but truthfully I don't think they'll miss it...they just think they will. If I can coerce them to go one time I bet they'll love it!
