Why would you want to force something on your friends they do not want?
I guess I never thought of it that way. Honestly, I feel like they just need to try it because it won't be any different than camping elsewhere. We will still have water, electric and a dump station. Yes, we will have to be more conservative to not fill the tanks, but for a 2 nighter I don't think any of us will have a major problem.
I absolutely do "stinky slinky" duty. We all contribute to the input so I don't see why I should get a pass on the output just because I'm the wife! ;) I usually drive and park too.
Honestly, our group isn't a bunch of divas. We dont' care if the satellite signal is bad or there aren't enough cable stations or if the wifi signal is weak. Our kids just need a space to play and we need enough space for a campfire where we don't feel like we're in our neighbor's space. There are tons of state parks that fit the bill, but just aren't full hook up.
I've already decided I'm going to go, and I have one friend who will be in as well. If hubby hates it I won't force the issue again but I still think any friends I can't convince to try are really missing out.
