It comes down to how it will be used.
We bought with the intention of our first 5er being our last. We also come from the cruising marine world where anchoring out was every overnight.
In RVs, like boats, 2 things are very important...battery power & freshwater capacity. Our 32' boat has 115gal freshwater capacity. Our 5er has 100gal capacity.
When looking, if it did not have over 80gal capacity it got taken off the list of possibles. Without that capacity you are limiting yourself in what you can do. There are great RV experiences where freshwater is not readily available. There are music festivals, racing, dry camping the NPs & BFS lands, all kinds of stuff that needs at least 3-4 nights worth of water for all uses.
So, when looking at holding tank capacity look at freshwater capacity also otherwise life will be restricted to FHU CGs or maybe the occasional Walmart overnight.
